Bistro and Farmhouse Reopening on February 3rd!
After being closed for the crisp, cold month of January, Merridale’s doors are open again on February 3rd! As the sun comes out and the temperature rises we’re throwing open the shutters and launching into another busy year at Merridale.
Some might think February is a bit grey, a bit somber, a bit stay-inside-where-it-is-warm-and-dry. At Merridale we have an action packed month with bright and new things to eat, drink and do that will get rid of the February grey!
New Year, New Brunch and Lunch Menus!
2017 brings us a new lunch menu featuring some of your old favourites, and some new Merridale takes on classic meals. And don't forget brunch: where breakfast and lunch collide, with a glorious menu of comfort foods and perfectly blended cocktails and craft ciders. Yummy! Check out our new menus on the Bistro page.
Weekend dinners are back with the regular menu, however, each weekend will also feature a fresh sheet with a three-course dinner paired with a mystery spirit, many served at cask strength! Each spirit will be available only at the farmhouse for tasting and purchase. Once a cask is empty, it is gone for good and a new cask is opened with a new spirit! This February, paint away the grey! Join us at Merridale for the first of our Arts and Craft Cider paint nights! We are running several paint nights throughout the year; the first is all about honey! February 24th to March 12th is Eat, Stay, Play time in the Cowichan Valley! The regions restaurants, accommodations and attractions are coming together to offer Dine Cowichan as an incentive to stay close and experience what the valley has to offer this spring. Merridale will be offering fixed-price menus – A three-course lunch for $25, a three-course dinner for $35, and a special pairing dinner menu for $45!
