For us, cider making has always been about the craft. That’s why our traditional English ciders are crafted from heritage variety apples that are over 500 years old. Our apples, our process and our service are all deeply rooted in traditional cider making.

This past August, we decided to start pairing our traditional English Ciders with English-style pub service in our restaurant, and casually relaunched our bistro as the Merridale Gastropub! Food and drink orders are now taken at the gastropub bar, and you’re welcome to seat yourselves at the table of your choice, where we deliver your order as soon as it’s ready. This style of service is popular in England, and we’re excited to give it a try at our farm!

With this change came a brand-new lunch menu filled with delicious and nourishing meals that pair beautifully with our crisp apple ciders and spirits. Our culinary team will also create a number of daily specials to keep things fresh and interesting.

After lunch, we invite you to stroll down to the orchard pond, a romantic conversation spot that also serves as the location of many Vancouver Island wedding ceremonies. We also offer a self-guided tour of the cellar and orchard.
