Holiday Shopping – daily
Not to be outdone, our farm store is stocked full of craft spirits, ciders, fortified ciders, unique gifts and art, and holiday baking. Let us do the wrapping for you while you settle into the bistro for a meal! For those on your list who already have everything, consider a gift of a 10-year old craft grape brandy, our special release Yule Fuel, or the old favourite Winter Apple for the sweet tooth. It’s shopping made easy!
Yule Fuel – while supplies last
Yule Fuel is returning to Merridale this November for the holiday season. Our mulled apple cider tastes just like Christmas! Deep spice notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg make this a perfect drink to enjoy warm or chilled with dinner, by the light of a crackling fire, or in the gastropub. Of course it will be available in the farmhouse store to purchase for home, too.
Besides the taste, there are few other things that make Yule Fuel special. First, it is the cider of choice for our Courtyard Light Up. Second, this limited release shares a special partnership with The Zone and The Q radio stations. Merridale has joined forces with these partners to support the TLC Fund for Kids. Everyone deserves a little “Tender Loving Care,” particularly kids. Partial proceeds of each bottle will aid in the wellness and quality of life for children on Vancouver Island.
Because our Yule Fuel is pretty irresistible, we often sell out. But don’t fret! In our farm store, we sell mulling spice so you can make your own mulled cider at home. Fill up a growler of House Cider, grab a package from the farm store, and mull it on the stove to enjoy this warm festive drink while snuggled up next to your fireplace. It makes the whole home smell like Christmas.
Please note, Merridale is closed on Christmas Day, December 25th.
