Orchard Glamping

The Merridale Yurts

Picture yourself sipping cider while watching the sunset over our heritage orchard with the sweet scent of apples in the air. Then, cozying up under plush bedding while gazing up at the stars through the circular skylight. Merridale’s yurts are circular, beautifully appointed wooden-framed tents. Each Yurt sleeps two adults and features hardwood floors, plush bedding, full bathrooms, and proximity to our lovely orchard.

Both of our Yurts are named for heritage cider apple varieties that we grow in our orchard: Yarlington and Tremlett. Our yurts are available between April and November. All rates exclude taxes and are based on double occupancy.

Other Notes

Check-in is between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Later check-ins must be pre-arranged as there will not be anyone on-site after 6:00 p.m.

Quiet Hours begin at 9:00 p.m. nightly. Loud noise and loud music are not permitted.

Smoking (tobacco or cannabis) is not permitted in the Yurts or anywhere on our property outside of our designated smoking area in the courtyard.

Free wifi is available on the property but it can be intermittent at the yurts.

Our yurts are located down a grassy slope and aren’t vehicle accessible – but we can offer a wheelbarrow to help you transport your belongings down to the yurt.

Our yurts are puppy-friendly! There is a $35 pet fee and you must abide by the terms of our pet policy.

Both Yurts have fans for hot days and a small gas fireplace for colder days. As Vancouver Island's spring and fall weather can be unpredictable, bring warm clothes and slippers.

The yurts do not have private fridges in them, but there is a shared fridge available for anything you wish to keep cool during your stay.
